Abstract

Heilipus lauri Boheman, the avocado seed weevil, is recorded for the first time in the Mixe Zone of Oaxaca, Mexico. This insect is already found in avocado orchards in other locations of Oaxaca, such as Santa María Alotepec and Santa María Tepantlali.

Se registra por primera vez a Heilipus lauri Boheman en la zona Mixe del estado de Oaxaca. Este insecto, ya se encuentra en huertas de aguacate en Santa María Alotepec y Santa María Tepantlali.
