Abstract

The present study is based on the oribatid mite material collected from litter in Munesa forest, Oromia region, Central Ethiopia. A list of 11 species, belonging to nine genera and six families, is presented. One new species—Allogalumna (Allogalumna) munesaensis sp. nov. (Galumnidae)—is described. An identification key to the known species of the subgenus is presented.
