Hou, H., 2020. Research on preparation and casting construction technology of self-compacting concrete in marine climate environments. In: Bai, X. and Zhou, H. (eds.), Advances in Water Resources, Environmental Protection, and Sustainable Development. Journal of Coastal Research, Special Issue No. 115, pp. 1-3. Coconut Creek (Florida), ISSN 0749-0208.
In order to meet the requirements of the construction site, self-compacting concrete is mainly to find out how to reduce the water cement ratio to control the occurrence of shrinkage cracks on the premise of meeting the strength and fluidity of concrete, so as to achieve the balance between “high fluidity” and “high stability” of concrete. As self-compacting concrete can improve the construction performance of concrete and reduce labor costs, it is conducive to environmental protection, and at the same time it can improve the mechanical properties and durability of hardened concrete. In order to improve the durability of concrete structure of marine engineering, high performance concrete of marine engineering is used in the wharf and cross Sea Bridge to improve the service life of concrete structure. Based on the analysis of the application significance of self compacting concrete, this paper discusses the design key points of self compacting concrete in the marine climate environment, and analyzes the working and mechanical properties of self compacting concrete in the project.
Wang, X.; Wang, C., and Du, J., 2020. Application of wireless sensor in bridge quality inspection of cross-sea steel frame structure. In: Bai, X. and Zhou, H. (eds.), Advances in Water Resources, Environmental Protection, and Sustainable Development. Journal of Coastal Research, Special Issue No. 115, pp. 4-6. Coconut Creek (Florida), ISSN 0749-0208.
As a basic material, steel frame structure is widely used in bridge construction and other aspects. However, due to the influence of marine environment and other factors, the steel frame structure of cross-sea bridge is prone to corrosion, which greatly affects the service life and safety of the bridge. Quality control of durability of concrete structures of sea-crossing bridges is a comprehensive problem involving materials, structural design and construction. All kinds of damages will inevitably occur in the bridge operation process, which will reduce the structural bearing capacity and safety. The quality control of the durability of the concrete structure of the bridge across the sea can be realized by adopting various effective measures such as epoxy resin coated steel bars, high-performance concrete, anti-corrosion coating external protection and strengthening the quality management in the construction process. In this paper, the content of quality control of concrete structure of sea crossing bridge is analyzed, and the application of wireless sensor in quality monitoring of sea crossing steel structure bridge is explored.
Zhang, D. and Liu, X., 2020. Dynamic control method and application of coastal engineering project construction cost based on rough sets. In: Bai, X. and Zhou, H. (eds.), Advances in Water Resources, Environmental Protection, and Sustainable Development. Journal of Coastal Research, Special Issue No. 115, pp. 7-9. Coconut Creek (Florida), ISSN 0749-0208.
The traditional cost analysis method of construction engineering has low operation efficiency and poor convergence performance, which leads to inaccurate cost analysis. With the increasingly fierce competition in the construction market, construction enterprises must strengthen the control and management of project costs in terms of systems and measures in order to continuously find profit space in low-cost and low-profit projects. Due to the complexity of the construction process and the uncertainty of many influencing factors, it is difficult to formulate a scientific cost control strategy, predict the degree of influence of various cost factors and reveal the correlation between them and the total cost before construction. Construction cost management of engineering project is the most concerned topic in coastal engineering project, and also the basis and key point of cost control of coastal engineering project. In order to judge the importance of cost factors and find the relationship between cost factors in coastal engineering projects so as to realize scientific cost control decision-making, it is necessary to objectively judge the main influencing factors of cost based on as many cost data as possible.

(eds.), Advances in Water Resources, Environmental Protection, and Sustainable Development. Journal of Coastal Research, Special Issue No. 115, pp. 10-12. Coconut Creek (Florida), ISSN 0749-0208.
In coastal cities, the architectural features along the coast are the epitome of the history and culture of coastal cities. With the rapid development of China's construction industry, people have put forward higher requirements for the design of building structures while ensuring the engineering quality. The architectural features along the coast with regional characteristics can not only continue the urban context, but also improve the image of the city and deeply impress people on the overall impression of the city. In architectural engineering design, the selection of structural design and structural measures is very important for the whole project construction. To a certain extent, it reflects the work results and design level of design engineers, but also brings a certain foundation for the improvement of construction efficiency. In the current architectural design, structural design is no longer limited to the traditional design mode, but a comprehensive design mode guided by various new technologies, new ideas and new ideas. Based on this, this paper mainly expounds the concept design and structural measures in architectural design.
Zhou, Q., 2020. Research on architectural space design of coastal cities based on virtual reality technology. In: Bai, X. and Zhou, H. (eds.), Advances in Water Resources, Environmental Protection, and Sustainable Development. Journal of Coastal Research, Special Issue No. 115, pp. 13-16. Coconut Creek (Florida), ISSN 0749-0208.
The development of coastal city building areas is of great significance. As the city's most direct “gateway”, the coastal zone develops marine resources and marine cultural industries. Whether the coastal city architecture is harmonious with the city space it is located in depends on the public's feeling in a considerable part. Simply speaking, it is the feeling of people in the created space. Hydrophilicity is a natural instinct of people. The development and utilization of coastal landscape can not only create a “poetic” landscape effect, but also use certain means to expand space. Starting from the three essential elements of space, time, space and matter, this paper discusses the new changes in the concept of architectural space and the thinking of space design in coastal cities. Virtual reality to express and imagine the world is always the source for people to create art and change the world. Virtual reality technology will play a more important role in the future coastal city landscape planning and design.

Chen, Z. and Ma, L., 2020. Research on spatial pattern and spatial effect of marine science and technology innovation efficiency in china's coastal provinces. In: Bai, X. and Zhou, H. (eds.), Advances in Water Resources, Environmental Protection, and Sustainable Development. Journal of Coastal Research, Special Issue No. 115, pp. 42-45. Coconut Creek (Florida), ISSN 0749-0208.
The intensity of interaction between China's marine economy and marine science and technology is not symmetrical and there are regional differences. The development of marine economy promotes the progress of marine science and technology. Under the strategic background of “marine power”, marine economy plays an increasingly important role in the national economy. Ecological efficiency takes into account the ecological and economic benefits of economic activities. It requires that the intensity of environmental impact and resource utilization be adapted to the level of the earth's carrying capacity. It is a concentrated expression of the goal of sustainable development. The spatial spillover degree of energy ecological efficiency in a certain area is stronger than that of error impact in the adjacent area. There are positive spatial correlation and spatial agglomeration phenomena in marine economic efficiency of coastal areas. The spatial correlation patterns of different areas have no obvious difference. There is obvious spatial spillover effect under the influence of geographical distance. Therefore, improving the efficiency of marine science and technology innovation is of great significance for accelerating the construction of a powerful marine country and a powerful scientific and technological country.
Cheng, K.-K.; Azam, S.-M.-F., and Yusoff, S.-K.-B.-M., 2020. Research on the impact of rural residents' income on consumption in coastal areas. In: Bai, X. and Zhou, H. (eds.), Advances in Water Resources, Environmental Protection, and Sustainable Development. Journal of Coastal Research, Special Issue No. 115, pp. 46-49. Coconut Creek (Florida), ISSN 0749-0208.
The rapid economic and social progress has given greater effect to consumption. Consumption level and consumption structure have an increasingly important impact on social production and life. Consumption is one of the important components to promote economic growth. Although China's economy has made great progress in recent years, its contribution to GDP continues to decline. Income is the key factor affecting farmers' participation in economic activities, and the channels of influence are extremely wide. China's macro-economy has gone through the stages of export-oriented economic development and investment-driven growth, and has achieved rapid and sustained growth. There are some problems in rural residents' income, such as slow growth, wide gap between regions, and uncertainty of disposable income, which lead to unreasonable consumption structure. It is of great significance to analyze the causes of the increase of farmers' income and consumption in the coastal areas of China, and to seek the countermeasures and ways to cultivate the followup consumption groups of farmers, so as to promote the virtuous cycle of the national economy.
Qiang, H., 2020. Research on compensation for pure economic losses in marine oil pollution cases. In: Bai, X. and Zhou, H. (eds.), Advances in Water Resources, Environmental Protection, and Sustainable Development. Journal of Coastal Research, Special Issue No. 115, pp. 50-52. Coconut Creek (Florida), ISSN 0749-0208.
With the rapid development of China's economy, the demand for oil is also increasing day by day. Oil is an indispensable economic resource for the development of modern countries. At the same time of the sharp increase in the volume of oil transportation at sea, the oil leakage in the process of transportation has also led to a series of marine oil pollution accidents. After the marine pollution and oil pollution accident occurred in our country, it is a controversial issue which individuals and departments should file lawsuits for claims for pure economic losses. The basis for the identification of pure economic loss in marine oil pollution damage lies in that the victim is a third party other than the direct party involved in the tort and the loss has nothing to do with the damage caused by the infringement of absolute right or tangible property. With the frequent occurrence of oil spill accidents and the improvement of people's awareness of rights protection, the research on compensation for pure economic loss in marine oil pollution damage has become more and more important and urgent. In view of this, this paper puts forward the countermeasures that should be taken for the compensation of pure economic loss in marine oil pollution in China.
Fan, H.-J, 2020. Research on sustainable development of coastal rural ecotourism based on tourism perception. In: Bai, X. and Zhou, H. (eds.), Advances in Water Resources, Environmental Protection, and Sustainable Development. Journal of Coastal Research, Special Issue No. 115, pp. 53-55. Coconut Creek (Florida), ISSN 0749-0208.
In the development of modern rural tourism, it is necessary to deeply explore the characteristic rural culture and continuously enhance the tourism attraction of rural areas. Stimulated by the spiritual needs of the people and the needs of economic development in rural areas, rural tourism has shown a trend of vigorous development. Developing eco-tourism in rural areas not only helps spur rural modernization, comprehensively improve the spiritual civilization construction between urban and rural areas in China, and narrow the gap between urban and rural areas in China. Compared with the urban environment, rural areas have more rural environmental resources, and citizens who have lived in cities for a long time have greater attraction. With the increasing number of tourists in coastal villages, tourism plays an increasingly important and obvious role in the economic development of towns, and its advantages become more and more obvious with the passage of time. How to give full play to the positive influence brought by the development of rural tourism and control the negative influence brought by the development of rural tourism to the maximum extent will be the primary problem for the coastal rural tourism community to achieve sustainable development.

In the long-term operation of port logistics, a large number of dynamic data have been accumulated. It has become a common cognition to strengthen the mining of these data values. According to the dynamic characteristics of port logistics information, this paper proposes an intelligent analysis strategy of port logistics information based on dynamic data mining technology.
Shi, X., 2020. Research on the influence of trade circulation on coastal agricultural economic growth. In: Bai, X. and Zhou, H. (eds.), Advances in Water Resources, Environmental Protection, and Sustainable Development. Journal of Coastal Research, Special Issue No. 115, pp. 96-98. Coconut Creek (Florida), ISSN 0749-0208.
Since the reform and opening up, China's agricultural economy has developed rapidly and the living standard of farmers has been continuously improved. However, judging from the overall economic development in China, the development of rural economy lags far behind that of urban economy. Low prices of agricultural products, increasing downward pressure on the economy, slow growth in the number of migrant workers and difficulties in wage growth are prominent problems in the structural reform of the agricultural supply side in China's coastal areas. Accelerating the establishment and development of a modern commercial circulation market system in rural areas also has an important impact on the growth of coastal agricultural economy. This paper makes an empirical analysis on the influencing factors of agricultural economic growth in the coastal areas of China from the perspective of trade circulation, so as to give policy suggestions on the development of agricultural economy. The development level of modern commerce and trade circulation has a positive correlation with the agricultural economic growth of coastal provinces and cities in China. With the continuous improvement of the development level of modern commerce and trade circulation, the agricultural economic development level of coastal provinces and cities also shows a trend of growth.
Liang, W., 2020. Research on innovation of financial management mode in high-tech marine engineering enterprises. In: Bai, X. and Zhou, H. (eds.), Advances in Water Resources, Environmental Protection, and Sustainable Development. Journal of Coastal Research, Special Issue No. 115, pp. 99-101. Coconut Creek (Florida), ISSN 0749-0208.
At present, financial management has become the top priority of high-tech enterprises. Ocean engineering high-tech enterprises are different from traditional enterprises, which makes it necessary to continuously explore enterprise financial management modes suitable for their own characteristics in the process of enterprise development. Therefore, ocean engineering financial management modes should be innovated in the process of enterprise development. Marine engineering high-tech enterprises play an important role in the development of modern society and economy. Different from other traditional enterprises, high-tech enterprises have specific management modes. What is not suitable for the rapid development of high-tech enterprises is that the current financial management system and mode of high-tech enterprises are relatively backward. In order to innovate the financial management mode of marine engineering high-tech enterprises, we should solve the current problems such as limited liquidity of funds, lack of efficiency of management mode, and not conducive to the mobilization of enterprise resources, so as to form a financial management concept suitable for the characteristics of enterprises.

(eds.), Advances in Water Resources, Environmental Protection, and Sustainable Development. Journal of Coastal Research, Special Issue No. 115, pp. 102-105. Coconut Creek (Florida), ISSN 0749-0208.
SAR (Synthetic Aperture Radar) is a coherent imaging radar mechanism working in microwave band. SAR image classification is the main component of remote sensing image classification. It has certain penetrability to the surface vegetation and is increasingly becoming one of the most representative earth observation methods today. This paper presents a method of merging shoreline feature points suitable for small port inspection. Firstly, the polarimetric SAR image level set segmentation algorithm is used to realize the accurate segmentation of land and sea, then it is fused with the classical edge detector based on statistical characteristics, and the rough detection of small ports is realized through the characteristics of less edge and good overall connectivity in the sea surface area. On this basis, the classification is completed iteratively by using complex Wishart statistical features. The algorithm can better improve the edge smoothness and regional consistency, and improve the classification quality of polarimetric SAR images. The experimental results show that the method proposed in this paper can realize high-precision detection of bridges.

Zheng, H., 2020. Automatic test method for dynamic load of ship shaft-belt power generation system. In: Bai, X. and Zhou, H. (eds.), Advances in Water Resources, Environmental Protection, and Sustainable Development. Journal of Coastal Research, Special Issue No. 115, pp. 110-112. Coconut Creek (Florida), ISSN 0749-0208.
Ship shaft generator is a power supply device widely deployed on large ships, which is driven by ship main shaft. Some automatic testing methods for power dynamic load of ship shaft-belt power generation systems have the problems of low testing accuracy and long testing time. Some large ship loads account for a large proportion of the ship's total load capacity. When this part of the load starts or stops, it will have a great impact on the ship's power grid. The traditional shaft generator system has many disadvantages, such as large loss, noise pollution, inconvenience in maintenance and inability to be coupled with the entire marine power grid. For the ship, the dynamic load test is the basis of the planning and control of the shaft power generation system. The accuracy of the test directly affects the stability of the shaft power generation system and the economy of the ship navigation. This paper analyzes the automatic test method of the power dynamic load of the marine shaft generator system, in order to meet the control demand of the marine power grid for the generator and realize the independent and stable operation of the marine diesel generator set.

Zhang, X., 2020. Multi-objective optimization design in construction period considering the influence of marine climate. In: Bai, X. and Zhou, H. (eds.), Advances in Water Resources, Environmental Protection, and Sustainable Development. Journal of Coastal Research, Special Issue No. 115, pp. 116-119. Coconut Creek (Florida), ISSN 0749-0208.
The traditional construction schedule network plan only optimizes a certain index of construction period, resources and expenses independently, and does not comprehensively consider the joint optimization among the indexes. The network plan is often inconsistent due to the difference of selected indexes, which makes the construction unit at a loss. During the construction period of the construction project, the final construction method is mainly to control the cost of the construction project by scientific methods, to ensure the overall construction quality of the project and to improve the efficiency of the use of funds. When the construction project is not timed, the factor of sea level rise should be taken into account in calculating and designing the high water level. As the sea level rises in the depths of the ocean, the evaporation of sea water accelerates and the atmospheric temperature correspondingly increases. This paper studies the multi-objective optimization design of construction period under the influence of marine climate, which is of great significance to the construction period control of subsequent projects in order to continuously improve the quality of construction period management of enterprises and to study the construction period management methods.

Xue, D., 2020. Research on identification of illegal intrusion in ship communication network based on depth learning algorithm. In: Bai, X. and Zhou, H. (eds.), Advances in Water Resources, Environmental Protection, and Sustainable Development. Journal of Coastal Research, Special Issue No. 115, pp. 127-129. Coconut Creek (Florida), ISSN 0749-0208.
The intrusion characteristic of ship communication network has wide band and strict stability, which makes it vulnerable to small disturbance in intrusion detection and has poor detection performance. In order to ensure the security of communication, the security mechanism in the network system should be able to scan the system for vulnerabilities, at the same time, it should also be able to monitor, attack and counter-attack the network security in real time, thus intrusion detection system came into being. It is one of the main ways to protect the ship information security to classify the illegal intrusion nodes in the ship communication network. However, with the increase of the number of intrusion nodes, the classification error of the communication network intrusion nodes based on the deep learning algorithm is relatively large, so it is unable to realize the accurate identification and classification of the intrusion nodes. The successful implementation of the method based on deep learning algorithm and cloud computing can effectively improve the accuracy of location judgment of intrusion data and greatly shorten the time required for data feature extraction.

(eds.), Advances in Water Resources, Environmental Protection, and Sustainable Development. Journal of Coastal Research, Special Issue No. 115, pp. 136-138. Coconut Creek (Florida), ISSN 0749-0208.
In recent years, China has made great efforts to strengthen our cultural soft power, and in the foreign language sector, it is also constantly strengthening, aimed at strengthening the overall cultural soft power of our country through the strengthening of foreign language soft power, so it is also making continuous efforts to integrate this construction into the national development process. This is the result of the inevitable requirement of our country's development so far, and it is also the requirement to enhance our country's comprehensive national strength. When we integrate into the field of international globalization, we should strive to improve our strength and create a very good international image and a beautiful and harmonious development environment. At the same time, the world's countries are gradually beginning to change China, a deeper understanding that the development of cultural soft power is also an important part of the development of national strength, and foreign language soft power as a part of cultural soft power, but also a more important part (Hu, 2019), has gradually become an important part and indispensable part of the development of international competitiveness of countries today. And cultural soft power contains the part of foreign language soft power, so foreign language is undoubtedly a very important part. It should have been envisaged before the Qinhuangdao Seaside Cultural Tourism Project, that there will be a large number of international outsiders in the promotion of island scenery and cultural traditions, so accurate and timely communication and communication is extremely important, so we should reserve the talents of foreign language as a skill before that. (Li, 2019) As shown in Figure 1, Therefore, from the point of view of the importance of foreign language soft power, if we want to develop Qinhuangdao seaside tourism project, we should deeply understand that not only to promote the economic development of the country and the joint development of various industries, but also to promote the inheritance of our country's historical and cultural traditions, on the basis of economic development, but also to carry out cultural export and inheritance, these measures are undoubtedly not very realistic theoretical significance. As shown in Figure 2. Therefore, this paper takes the soft power of foreign language as its starting point, from this point of view, to build the development model of Qinhuangdao coastal cultural tourism project, and then as an example, is conducive to the development and implementation of other special projects, from the development of coastal tourism projects at home and abroad, the impact of cultural differences between China and foreign countries and training measures for foreign language professionals, to provide effective reference value for the development of Qinhuangdao seaside cultural tourism project.

(eds.), Advances in Water Resources, Environmental Protection, and Sustainable Development. Journal of Coastal Research, Special Issue No. 115, pp. 184-186. Coconut Creek (Florida), ISSN 0749-0208.
With the rapid development of economic globalization, countries all over the world pay more attention to the development of marine economy. In the new wave of ocean development, opportunities and challenges coexist. Marine economic system is different from continental economic system. Its openness, high risk, high income and high dependence on capital and technology urgently require the effective exertion of the driving effect of scientific and technological innovation. Under the new normal of economy, the construction of marine ecological civilization cannot be separated from the transformation and upgrading of economy and the adjustment of industrial structure. Innovation-driven development of low-carbon economy, green economy and circular economy is a necessary condition for the construction of marine ecological civilization. Based on the characteristics of marine economic system, the driving effect of scientific and technological innovation depends not only on the self-strengthening of market mechanism, but also on the macro guidance and innovation system construction of the government. In view of this, we should fully implement the outline of the national marine development plan, accelerate the development and construction of marine economy, and explore a new way of sustainable development of marine economy suitable for China's national conditions.

(eds.), Advances in Water Resources, Environmental Protection, and Sustainable Development. Journal of Coastal Research, Special Issue No. 115, pp. 187-189. Coconut Creek (Florida), ISSN 0749-0208.
Compared with general engineering projects, port engineering projects have large investment scale, long cycle, uncertain natural environment in which the port is located, and diversified potential influencing factors, which are all sources of risk for port engineering projects. With the increasing trend of economic globalization and integration, ports are playing an increasingly important role in stimulating regional economy and local economy. However, because port construction is a capital-intensive industry with a long payback period, investment in port projects has to bear greater risks. The construction and operation of port projects often have a significant impact on the local economic and social system and the existing space and natural environment. Based on the introduction of the characteristics and causes of the investment risks of port construction projects, this paper analyzes the potential risk factors of port construction project investment in China, and gives suggestions for the risk evaluation of port construction project investment combined with the characteristics of the investment risks of port construction projects.

(eds.), Advances in Water Resources, Environmental Protection, and Sustainable Development. Journal of Coastal Research, Special Issue No. 115, pp. 202-204. Coconut Creek (Florida), ISSN 0749-0208.
Due to the influence of external environmental factors, the traditional method has certain deviation in ship bearings-only target tracking. With the development of economic globalization, the number of shipping vessels has increased dramatically. A good video target tracking system must be able to ensure real-time tracking of ship targets. However, the increase in the number of ships not only improves the work efficiency of water transportation, but also causes the problem of higher water traffic density, which has a serious impact on the safe navigation of ships and the ecological environment of waters. The functions of target tracking system include target detection, target feature extraction, target tracking and so on. In this paper, the computer vision technology is introduced into the ship bearings only target tracking, and the computer vision sensor device is installed on the ship to be tracked, and the real-time ship navigation image is collected by the device.
Meng, X. and Li, X., 2020. Research on optimization of port logistics distribution path planning based on intelligent group classification algorithm. In: Bai, X. and Zhou, H. (eds.), Advances in Water Resources, Environmental Protection, and Sustainable Development. Journal of Coastal Research, Special Issue No. 115, pp. 205-207. Coconut Creek (Florida), ISSN 0749-0208.
At present, the logistics industry has become an important part of social and economic development. The success of modern logistics enterprises depends on efficient cooperation with all upstream and downstream enterprises in the supply chain, and information technology is the prerequisite for such cooperation. Artificial Fish Swarm Algorithm (AFSA) is applied to robot path planning in intelligent bionic way. In order to improve the solving speed of the planning and reduce the length of the planning path, the convergence speed of the algorithm in the later stage is reduced and the local optimal solution is easily trapped. Location information is of great significance to the application of artificial fish swarm algorithm. The location of events or information sources is an important part of data transmission in sensor networks. The operation of the distribution system plays a vital role in the whole logistics system, and its analysis and design are the premise for its good operation.
Wu, G.; Zheng, X., and Wang, Y., 2020. The impact of tourists' environmental and climate satisfaction on environmental restoring awareness in seashore tourist resort. In: Bai, X. and Zhou, H. (eds.), Advances in Water Resources, Environmental Protection, and Sustainable Development. Journal of Coastal Research, Special Issue No. 115, pp. 208-210. Coconut Creek (Florida), ISSN 0749-0208.
With the change of global environmental climate and the development of low-carbon economy, the development of low-carbon tourism has also been put on the agenda. In recent years, China's large-scale haze weather has had a certain negative impact on tourists' travel willingness and travel experience, thus reducing the level of tourists' travel satisfaction. Tourists are the real implementers of low-carbon tourism. Therefore, understanding tourists' perception and intention of low-carbon tourism is the key to developing low-carbon tourism and creating low-carbon scenic spots. Air quality has become one of the key elements of tourism demand. Therefore, it is of great theoretical and practical significance for the healthy development of tourism industry to scientifically evaluate the air value of tourism cities. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the impact of environmental satisfaction and climate satisfaction on the perception of environmental restoration in seaside resort, and to provide a new direction for exploring how the environment and climate affect the physical and mental health and restoration of tourists.

(eds.), Advances in Water Resources, Environmental Protection, and Sustainable Development. Journal of Coastal Research, Special Issue No. 115, pp. 211-213. Coconut Creek (Florida), ISSN 0749-0208.
In recent years, maritime trade has been developing continuously, the density of ships in ports and maritime routes has been increasing, and maritime traffic accidents have occurred frequently. With the development of economic globalization, more and more frequent commodity trade has appeared between countries in the world. Maritime container transportation has higher safety, lower cost and relatively large actual transportation volume. Maritime navigation is characterized by dynamic and non-repeatable positioning and navigation compared with land due to fuzzy route boundaries, frequent hydrometeorological changes, dynamic and changeable water depth and the influence of obstacles. In the process of the development of maritime trade, a great deal of energy should be devoted to the technical research work of ship navigation in the sea area and the analysis of ship's navigation trajectory. In this paper, the analysis of ship's trajectory is taken as the analysis object, and the analysis and prediction are carried out on the basis of image processing, so that the incidence of maritime traffic accidents can be reduced.

(eds.), Advances in Water Resources, Environmental Protection, and Sustainable Development. Journal of Coastal Research, Special Issue No. 115, pp. 217-219. Coconut Creek (Florida), ISSN 0749-0208.
Financial support is the driving force and means for the development of marine industry. Improving the efficiency of financial support is the key to financial support. With the increasingly fierce market competition, only by relying on high-quality products and high customer satisfaction can enterprises survive in the fierce competition. Among many evaluation methods, Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA), as a non-parametric statistical method for effectively dealing with multi-input and multi-output problems, has received more and more attention in evaluating the relative efficiency of decision-making units. The adjustment and optimization of financial structure have been proved by theory and practice to promote economic growth, and financial support plays a decisive role in the development of marine industry. China's financial structure is still in the stage of scale expansion to promote the marine economy. In order to promote the improvement of marine industry, we should turn to the intensive mode of efficiency improvement. This paper extends from financial support to the study of financial support efficiency, and puts forward the method of using DEA model to evaluate and analyze the financial support efficiency of marine industry.

(eds.), Advances in Water Resources, Environmental Protection, and Sustainable Development. Journal of Coastal Research, Special Issue No. 115, pp. 220-222. Coconut Creek (Florida), ISSN 0749-0208.
With the progress of science and technology and the continuous development of productivity, economic globalization and regional economic grouping have become irreversible trends. Interactive development of port infrastructure and port city economy is an important guarantee for sustainable and rapid development of regional economy. The improvement of port infrastructure such as port cargo throughput, number of berths and terminal length can promote trade development. Port efficiency is specific in today's global trade. If we think that port efficiency is not specific in global trade, or if we do not have a far-sighted prediction of global trade, we cannot see the long term after all. With the development of port economy, the competition of port logistics has changed from cost difference to service difference. This paper explores the relationship between foreign trade and the level of port infrastructure and port efficiency in China's coastal cities, trying to find out the factors that have been ignored by all sectors in the past but have an important role in the development of trade.

(eds.), Advances in Water Resources, Environmental Protection, and Sustainable Development. Journal of Coastal Research, Special Issue No. 115, pp. 229-231. Coconut Creek (Florida), ISSN 0749-0208.
With the continuous development of economic globalization and the continuous progress of science and technology, industrial competition and market competition are becoming more and more fierce. Technological innovation has become an important force to promote national industrial development and economic progress. Faced with the rapid population growth and the increasing shortage of various land resources, making full use of marine resources has become an inevitable choice for China's economic development. The ocean is one of the most important ecosystems in the earth's biosphere and the birthplace of human civilization. In order to ensure the smooth implementation of the established industrial chain development mechanism, we must take corresponding countermeasures to solve various problems that may occur in the implementation process. The eco-environmental cost of marine development activities cannot be effectively compensated, which leads to a series of marine eco-environmental problems. Under the contradiction between economic development and the shortage of energy, space and other resources, human beings gradually turn the focus of economic development strategy to the ocean, which puts forward higher requirements for the development and utilization of marine industry chain.

(eds.), Advances in Water Resources, Environmental Protection, and Sustainable Development. Journal of Coastal Research, Special Issue No. 115, pp. 244-246. Coconut Creek (Florida), ISSN 0749-0208.
This paper analyzes the common misunderstandings of increasing aquaculture of large surface fish and fishery environment protection, and puts forward some countermeasures in combination with the corresponding misunderstandings. Although traditional marine fisheries management aims to address the general reduction in target species, overfishing has changed the entire food chain and has complex potential chain effects. Most fisheries are concentrated in predators on the surface. The strength of the fishery is, for example, to capture dominant species in the feed fishery in the middle of the food chain. Peru's Theragra chalcogram or Engraulis ring can reduce the prey of predators (such as fish, marine mammals and seabirds). The fishery not only removes specific nutrient-level biomass from the food network, but also has an indirect effect, such as removing targets Species, change habitats, adjust biological behavior and provide welfare for scavengers.

Xiao, L.Y., 2020. Spatial-temporal analysis of precipitation and drought in the Poyang lake basin during 1957-2012. In: Bai, X. and Zhou, H. (eds.), Advances in Water Resources, Environmental Protection, and Sustainable Development. Journal of Coastal Research, Special Issue No. 115, pp. 379-382. Coconut Creek (Florida), ISSN 0749-0208.
Droughts have presented an increasing trend in the Poyang Lake Basin in the past several decades. To find patterns of meteorological drought, spatiotemporal changes in precipitation and drought were analyzed. Firstly, the Mann-Kendall method was adopted for a trend test. Results show that precipitation trends in the Poyang Lake Basin have clearly temporal and spatial distinctions. For the monthly scale, there were dry trends in May for all of the basin area, while statistically significant wet trends were found in January for nearly all the basin. Secondly, the standard precipitation index (the SPI) was calculated to characterize droughts. Analysis of the standard precipitation index at a 12-month time scale suggested that the statistically significant decreasing trends were found at Xiushui station and Ganxian station, which are located in the north and south. Results of the analysis revealed that the half part of the Poyang Lake Basin became drier during 1957-2012. Morover, we can know the decrease of precipitation in May and October may be the reason of the drought in the Xiushui and Ganxian stations.

Shen, L., 2020. The research on protection and exploitation of the rare and endangered medicinal plant in the Three Gorges Reservoir area. In: Bai, X. and Zhou, H. (eds.), Advances in Water Resources, Environmental Protection, and Sustainable Development. Journal of Coastal Research, Special Issue No. 115, pp. 387-390. Coconut Creek (Florida), ISSN 0749-0208.
The Three Gorges Reservoir area is the focus of rare and endangered medicinal plant in China, as the core area of endemic plants distribution center in eastern Sichuan and western Hubei. To carry out the protection work more effectively in future, the balance between the utilization and protection of the medicinal plant must be handled with much more caution. Encouraging breeding by exploitation will promote the protection of the medicinal source. Strengthen the construction of the rare medicinal plants germplasm genebank under the international standard is urgent to conduct the research on species introduction, breeding, in vitro protection, endophytic bacteria and its active ingredients. Using biological technology to reconstruct the endangered medicinal plant resources will help us expand the growth region, improve the viability and the reproductive rate, on condition that the “rare” quality is kept. At the same time, breeding and cultivation research must be greatly reinforced to improve industrialization upon meeting the changes and the request of market, in order that the rare and endangered medicinal plants can survive safe and sound.
Wang, H.; Chen, S.H., and Luo, L., 2020. Topological characterization and optimization design for general arrangements of the research vessels. In: Bai, X. and Zhou, H. (eds.), Advances in Water Resources, Environmental Protection, and Sustainable Development. Journal of Coastal Research, Special Issue No. 115, pp. 391-395. Coconut Creek (Florida), ISSN 0749-0208.
A research vessel is a special ship designed to conduct the surveys and experiments of marine hydrology, geology, meteorology, and biology. Research vessels are equipped with many laboratories and experimental instruments required by various scientific researches, such as physics, chemistry, biology, etc. Hence, the general arrangement design of the research vessels is a complex task. Current approaches to this design problem are the repetitive process of trial-and-error and rely heavily on the design experience and inspiration of ship designers. This process is time and resource-intensive, which limits the discovery of optimal arrangements and increases the design costs and time. This paper presents a novel topology optimization design approach for the general design of research vessels. In the proposed approach, a multiscale network is utilized for characterizing the general arrangements. And, a mapping from the geometric arrangement to the topological network is defined. Besides, the meta-heuristic optimization techniques are applied in the design phases. For verifying the validity, the topology optimization design approach is demonstrated on the general arrangement design of the noted research vessel Atlantis.
Du, J.; Zhao, H., and Xue, Y.F., 2020. Flow field simulation and experimental analysis of flue guide plate of marine desulfurization tower. In: Bai, X. and Zhou, H. (eds.), Advances in Water Resources, Environmental Protection, and Sustainable Development. Journal of Coastal Research, Special Issue No. 115, pp. 396-400. (Coconut Creek, Florida), ISSN 0749-0208.
In this paper, the exhaust gas of marine diesel engine under rated condition is taken as the research object, the newer version of fluent18.0 software is used as the platform, the self-defined function and SO2 absorption model are compiled by using C++software and double membrane theory, and the compiled self-defined function is imported through UDF interface. The uneven distribution of flue gas and the phenomenon of sticking to the wall in the side feed desulfurization tower lead to the reduction of desulfurization efficiency. The number and position of the guide plates in the flue of the marine desulfurization tower need not be simulated and optimized. Through the analysis and comparison of the velocity flow field and SO2 mass fraction cloud chart, the desulfurization efficiency of zero to three guide plates is 94.31%, 95%, 96.84% and 97.63% respectively. Then, compared with the experimental data, and the difference of simulation results is small, which has great practical value and theoretical significance for optimizing desulfurization tower and improving sodium alkali desulfurization system.

Wan, Z.; Shi, H.B.; Liu, X.M., and Liu, H.Y., 2020. Analysis on the ice regime change characteristics in the Inner Mongolia reach of the Yellow River from 1950 to 2010. In: Bai, X. and Zhou, H. (eds.), Advances in Water Resources, Environmental Protection, and Sustainable Development. Journal of Coastal Research, Special Issue No. 115, pp. 405-408. Coconut Creek (Florida), ISSN 0749-0208.
In recent years, due to high temperature in winter in the Inner Mongolia reach of the Yellow River, the frequent occurrence of extreme temperature events, the decrease of bankfull discharge, the increase of buildings near/ cross the river, the ice prevention by reservoirs and the application of ice prevention projects, the ice regime in the Inner Mongolia reach has changed. In order to study the characteristics of the ice change in the Inner Mongolia reach, four hydrological stations of Shizuishan, Bayangol, Sanhuhekou and Toudaoguai in the Inner Mongolia reach were selected and based on the measured data of these hydrological stations, this paper studied and analyzed the characteristics and reasons of the recent ice changes. The results showed that the recent ice-run and freeze-up of the Inner Mongolia reach is postponed, the river break-up is earlier, and the river freeze-up period is shortened; the annual maximum channel storage increment is significantly increased with the maximum value occurred in recent years; the occurrence of the ice disaster is reduced. Generally, the ice prevention in the Inner Mongolia reach is still severe, and multiple measures are needed for ice prevention.

Wei, W.; Zhang, Y., and Wan, G., 2020. Research on surface water quality in china-based on observation of 148 automatic monitoring stations. In: Bai, X. and Zhou, H. (eds.), Advances in Water Resources, Environmental Protection, and Sustainable Development. Journal of Coastal Research, Special Issue No. 115, pp. 413-416. Coconut Creek (Florida), ISSN 0749-0208.
The problem of water pollution has become one of the most important constraints on China's economic and social development, and has attracted great attention from the national and local governments. Only by fully grasping the surface water quality can it be possible to control water pollution more efficiently and effectively. This article uses the weekly data of 148 surface water automatic monitoring stations of China Environmental Total Station from 2016 to 2018 in a total of 90 periods to analyze the overall water quality situation. A detailed analysis of the watershed is carried out, and it corresponds to the province and city where the monitoring station is located, to see the impact of the difference between provinces and cities on surface water quality. The results show that the improvement of surface water quality in China is not obvious, and some rivers even deteriorate. However, the influence of provinces and cities on the change trend of water quality is not obvious. Overall, the upstream is relatively good, the midstream and downstream are poor. More pollution types need attention, and more indicators need to be included in the monitoring system.

Study on breakage mechanism in the swirl generating stage of an oil-water separator for marine oil extraction and its verification. In: Bai, X. and Zhou, H. (eds.), Advances in Water Resources, Environmental Protection, and Sustainable Development. Journal of Coastal Research, Special Issue No. 115, pp. 417-420. Coconut Creek (Florida), ISSN 0749-0208.
High-efficient oil-water separator is badly-needed in marine oil extraction. Droplet breakage is common during the conversion from pipe to swirl flow in separators. Avoiding oil droplets break into small ones in the swirl generating stage is beneficial to improve the separator's separation efficiency. Information regarding the breakage mechanism and dispersed droplet distribution is critical for optimum design of the conversion structure, such as guiding vanes and prediction of the oil-water separation performance. However, little work has been related to the study of droplet sizes in a swirl flow produced by guiding vanes. The present work focuses on the oil droplet sizes generated by the passage of oil-water mixture goes through guiding vanes in a vane-type separator and the different breakage mechanism. Experiments were performed under different flow rates and maximum droplet sizes were measured in situ downstream from the guiding vanes. The maximum droplet size was found to fit a modified-T model. Besides, Modified-T model was found to fit different studies data the best in the noncoalescence system. The studies shows that reducing the energy loss also reduces the probability of droplet breakage which put forward a new method to improve the separator's design.
Qin, W.J. and Fan, G.S., 2020. Estimating soil water characteristic curve from soil physical-chemical properties in alluvial plain. In: Bai, X. and Zhou, H. (eds.), Advances in Water Resources, Environmental Protection, and Sustainable Development. Journal of Coastal Research, Special Issue No. 115, pp. 421-424. Coconut Creek (Florida), ISSN 0749-0208.
The soil water characteristic curve is an important equation of soil hydraulics, which plays a decisive role in the storage and transport of soil water, and has potential influences of hydrological and ecological processes in whole ecosystems. In order to understand the controlling factors affect Van Genuchten model parameters in Alluvial Plain, ninety undisturbed soil samples were collected from Chanyuan River and Xishan Lake. The direct determination of the soil water characteristic curve has the defects of time-consuming and high cost, the BP based on genetic algorithm optimization model was proposed to obtain the Van Genuchten model parameters from easily-obtained soil physical-chemical properties. The research results provide a basis for the further study of soil water holding capacity of undisturbed soil, and also provide a more accurate method for obtaining soil water characteristic curve in Alluvial Plain.

This method can be widely used in the study of ecological resource allocation in urban small watershed.
Wang, P.; Zhu, Z.Q., and Fei, Y.H., 2020. The environmental early warning management of water resources carrying capacity of ski resorts in China. In: Bai, X. and Zhou, H. (eds.), Advances in Water Resources, Environmental Protection, and Sustainable Development. Journal of Coastal Research, Special Issue No. 115, pp. 430-433. Coconut Creek (Florida), ISSN 0749-0208.
Under the background of global warming, it has become a common choice for most ski resorts to ensure or even extend the operating period of ski resorts through artificial snow making. Many artificial snow making causes serious waste of water resources and ecological damage, which aggravates the water resources crisis in the ski resort area. Therefore, the environmental early warning management of water resources carrying capacity of ski resorts is directly related to the satisfaction of tourists and the ecological balance of tourist areas. According to the characteristics of skiing tourism resources, with the help of ecological footprint evaluation model, Northern China is selected as the evaluation object to calculate the water resources carrying capacity of skiing tourism area. Based on these, the early warning interval and grade of the environmental capacity of ski tourism resources were determined. The result showed that there were increasing trends of regional water resources ecological footprint in 2010-2019 (3.76-3.85 ha/cap), accompanied by decreasing water capacity (1.28-1.20 ha/cap), but expanding ecological deficit (2.48-2.65 ha/cap). The distribution patter of water footprint and the degree of sustainable development varied distinctly from area to area in Northern China and the lowest value of environmental early warning index (EEWI) was presented in North China in 2019. Consequently, increasing in the water resources recycling rate and reducing in human demand due to technological advances or other factors are the most effective ways to control within a reasonable range of the environmental capacity of ski tourism resources.

In: Bai, X. and Zhou, H. (eds.), Advances in Water Resources, Environmental Protection, and Sustainable Development. Journal of Coastal Research, Special Issue No. 115, pp. 446-450. Coconut Creek (Florida), ISSN 0749-0208.
Molar tooth carbonate is a special sedimentary rock, which has been widely found around the world, such as Europe, North America, Africa and Asia. The features and genesis of molar tooth carbonate are still the focus of the sedimentary study so far. The molar tooth carbonate has an important significant for the stratigraphic correlation, sedimentary condition and paleoenvironment. In the Benxi area, the discovery of the molar tooth carbonate in the Nanhua System has a great meaning to study the Precambrian geology of the Jiao-Liao Block, then reconstruct the Neoproterozoic paleogeography of North China Craton. In the last decade, the methods of geochemistry have been widely used to solve geological problems, for example petrogenesis, tectonic evolution, dynamics and so on. The main geochemistry method of carbonate is C-O isotope analysis, which can suggest the feature of ancient water temperature. It also can be used to identify the history of oxidation event or glaciation. There are some evidences show that molar tooth carbonate has relationship with oxidation event and glaciation. The oxidation event and glaciation can change and reflect the setting of paleo-ocean environment and then influence the diversity of marine lives.

(eds.), Advances in Water Resources, Environmental Protection, and Sustainable Development. Journal of Coastal Research, Special Issue No. 115, pp. 451-455. Coconut Creek (Florida), ISSN 0749-0208.
Energy conservation and emission reduction have gradually changed from a secondary contradiction in the process of China's economic growth to a major contradiction. This study measures the carbon emission intensity of China's provinces over the period of 2005 to 2017. This paper uses the global Moran index, local Moran index, local LISA index and nuclear density function model to analyze the spatial correlation and coordination index of carbon emission intensity in various regions of China. The results finds that: (1) Chinese carbon emission intensity continued to decline, and the intensity of carbon emission of each economic zone is in descending order of southwest, eastern coast, northern coast, middle Yangtze River, southern coast, middle Yellow River, Northeast Comprehensive, Northwest. (2) The regional gap in China's carbon emissions intensity has gradually narrowed. The regional gap contribution has continued to increase during the observation period, and the intra-region gap contribution has continued to decline. There is a phenomenon of “convergence or club convergence” within the regional gap. (3) Chinese carbon emission intensity has a strong spatial autocorrelation among different regions. The carbon emission intensity of the regionally underdeveloped regions has a positive spatial correlation. The carbon emission intensity of the developed regions has a negative spatial correlation, but the spatial effect intensity. Both are weak. (4) The carbon emission intensity of the high-value area and the median area increased first and then decreased, and the gap between regions first narrowed and then expanded.

Wu, F.; Wang, X.G., and Liu, T., 2020. An empirical analysis of high-quality marine economic development driven by marine technological innovation. In: Bai, X. and Zhou, H. (eds.), Advances in Water Resources, Environmental Protection, and Sustainable Development. Journal of Coastal Research, Special Issue No. 115, pp. 465-468. Coconut Creek (Florida), ISSN 0749-0208.
In this paper, firstly, the relationship among basic research, application research, exploitation research and industrialization in marine technological innovation and the mechanism of driving the high-quality marine economic development are analyzed, and empirical tests are carried out. The results show that there are long-term and short-term differences in the impact of marine technological innovation on the high-quality marine economic development. In the long run, marine application research has greater elasticity, while marine exploitation research has less elasticity to promote the high-quality marine economic development. In the short term, the impact of marine exploitation research on the high-quality marine economic development has changed, which also reflects the close proximity of marine exploitation experiments to actual conditions and the short-term and fast-acting input cycles; the short-term effect of marine application research is lower than that of exploitation research; and neither short-term nor long-term models of marine basic research have passed the significance test, which does not mean that basic marine research is not important to the high-quality marine economic development, but that too little investment is made in current marine technological innovation in this regard.

(eds.), Advances in Water Resources, Environmental Protection, and Sustainable Development. Journal of Coastal Research, Special Issue No. 115, pp. 469-472. Coconut Creek (Florida), ISSN 0749-0208.
Marine emission control Workshop scheduling problem not only needs to optimize performance indexes such as maximizing completion time and machine load, but also should consider cost control. Based on the double constraint of environmental efficiency and cost, the performance index with the lowest processing cost in workshop scheduling was proposed for the purpose of cost control optimization, and the genetic algorithm optimization model was constructed based on this objective function. The coding mechanism based on process and cost is adopted, and the crossover operation and mutation operation aiming at coding scheme are improved to ensure the diversity of the population in the evolutionary search process of the algorithm, so that the optimization effect of model cost control can be further improved. By an example experiment, the feasibility and effectiveness of the cost control optimization model are verified, which provides a new idea for solving the dilemma between the efficiency and the cost in the marine emission environmental control.

Li, L.Y. and Zhu, H., 2020. Analysis on trade effect of green barriers and on agricultural product export and maritime transport in China. In: Bai, X. and Zhou, H. (eds.), Advances in Water Resources, Environmental Protection, and Sustainable Development. Journal of Coastal Research, Special Issue No. 115, pp. 477-480. Coconut Creek (Florida), ISSN 0749-0208.
As emerging non-tariff barriers, green barriers have become a new stumbling block to agricultural product export and maritime transport in China. In this thesis, the SPS (Agreementon the Application of Sanitary and Phytosanitary Measures) notified numbers are selected as a measurement index of green barriers to study its trade effect on China's agricultural product export. Research finds that in the current period and the third year, green barriers have a positive effect on the agricultural product export in China and that in the third year, they have a positive market diversion effect on the agricultural product export in China, which enables China's agricultural products to increase their market shares in other countries. Due to the fact that the period from notification to implementation of SPS takes seven to eight months, and that at the same time, the cycle of production adjustment of agricultural products is relatively long, green barriers do not take positive effect until the third year arrives on agricultural product export and maritime transport.
Zhang, Q., 2020. Rethink the relationship between environmental regulations and green technology innovation in coastal cities. In: Bai, X. and Zhou, H. (eds.), Advances in Water Resources, Environmental Protection, and Sustainable Development. Journal of Coastal Research, Special Issue No. 115, pp. 481-484. Coconut Creek (Florida), ISSN 0749-0208.
Environmental regulation is an important external constraint that affects the short-term effect and long-term mechanism of sustainable development in coastal cities. Technological innovation is the key of solving the contradiction between environmental pollution and economic growth. Based on Porter's hypothesis theory, relevant literatures are reviewed and relationship between environmental regulation and green technological innovation is re-examined. This paper constructs an evolutionary game model, explores characteristics of government and enterprises' behavior and their influencing factors, and analyzes evolutionary laws of both participants of the game and the evolutionary equilibrium state under different situations according to the replication dynamic equation. Environmental regulation affects enterprises' decision-making on green technology, and technological level reacts on the adjustment of environmental regulation policies. There is a synergy relationship between environmental regulation and green innovation.

The control of ship motion in harbor water is a frontier problem in unmanned ship research. In harbor waters, affected by the shore type, the varied flow pattern has a great influence on ship motion. In this paper, numerical calculation method was used to study the influence of non-uniform flow on ship motion. a control-volume-based finite-difference scheme of the three-dimensional rectangular coordinate system was used for solving the two-phase transient Navier-Stokes equations. The dynamic process of water interaction with the ship and its (ship) free surface was investigated with the help of volume of fluid (VOF) technique. Moreover, the flow field and mechanical characteristics of the ship in the breakwater were analyzed under the action of cross flow. The force analysis of ship with respect to time and space such as the ship sailing out of breakwater with certain sail-angle and speed characteristics are also investigated. Finally, these numerical results were compared with that of experimental data which has a nice correlation with each other.

(eds.), Advances in Water Resources, Environmental Protection, and Sustainable Development. Journal of Coastal Research, Special Issue No. 115, pp. 514-517. Coconut Creek (Florida), ISSN 0749-0208.
In order to solve the technical problems of tunnel construction in water-rich area, the deformation and stress change of surrounding rock caused by three blasting methods, such as entire section method, bench method and single side heading method, are analyzed. The bench method produces the minimum displacement of the vault, and the displacement of the first row hole is slightly larger than that of the second row hole. After the tunnel excavation, the tensile stress concentration area appears in the inverted arch, the maximum tensile stress value produced by the entire section method is the smallest, and the bench method is the largest. The single side heading method has the least influence on the surrounding rock of the first tunnel. Finally, it is determined that the first tunnel of the water-rich tunnel is excavated by entire section method and the rear tunnel is excavated by Single side heading method. Through the field implementation, the method is proved to be feasible.

Next, we used the comprehensive evaluation index to evaluate the processing results of the typical magnetic anomaly signals of underwater targets, and obtained the optimal wavelet basis function. Finally, we verified the proposed method by the aeromagnetic anomaly simulation signals of underwater targets. The experimental results show that the optimal wavelet basis functions obtained by the proposed method have a better enhancement effect on the aeromagnetic anomaly measurement signal of the underwater target.
Yang, X.; Yuan, W., and Li, Z.M., 2020. An analysis on the dynamic impact of corporate income tax on technological innovation in China with the construction of ecological civilization for water conservation, energy conservation and emission reduction. In: Bai, X. and Zhou, H. (eds.), Advances in Water Resources, Environmental Protection, and Sustainable Development. Journal of Coastal Research, Special Issue No. 115, pp. 535-538. Coconut Creek (Florida), ISSN 0749-0208.
With the promotion of ecological civilization construction, the government has always been concerned about how to achieve technological innovation and upgrading, so as to better carry out emission reduction and environmental protection. Only through technological innovation can enterprises better realize water and energy saving and promote environmental sustainable development. As the second largest tax in China, corporate income tax affects the level of technological innovation through tax revenue and tax preference. In this paper, on the basis of theoretical analysis, the panel data of China from 1998 to 2017 were used to empirically test the impact of corporate income tax on the dynamics of technological innovation. The results show that the corporate income tax has significantly promoted the technological innovation in U shape to some extent, which was further proved by a threshold regression, that is, the short-term income backwardness mechanism and the implementation of tax preferential policies have significantly improved the level of technological innovation. However, with the increase of the burden of technological innovation of enterprises and the defects of tax preferential policies, the promotion level has been reduced. The long-term corporate income tax has reached a certain scale, which ensures the financial revenue and the government's efforts to optimize the allocation of tax resources, reasonably standardizes and plays the role of preferential policies, and increases its promotion role.

(eds.), Advances in Water Resources, Environmental Protection, and Sustainable Development. Journal of Coastal Research, Special Issue No. 115, pp. 566-569. Coconut Creek (Florida), ISSN 0749-0208.
As an important group of long-distance marine workers, ocean seamen live far away from land for a long time, with single diet, high work intensity and heavy psychological burden. The impact of marine living environment on crew's health is mainly reflected in the chronic diseases caused by the maladjustment to the marine environment, which has been confirmed in relevant research. As the most common cardiovascular disease in China, hypertension is also the most common chronic disease of crew, which has become a major problem affecting the health of ocean going crew. In this paper, the high blood pressure symptoms of the crew were statistically analyzed. The crew with high blood pressure were divided into the control group and the experimental group, and the control experiment of aerobic exercise was carried out. It was concluded that the appropriate aerobic exercise of the crew with high blood pressure could help to reduce the blood pressure of the crew with high blood pressure, but it had little effect on sugar and lipid.

Yang, W., 2020. Influence of time and space analysis of marine economy on catastrophe insurance risk assessment. In: Bai, X. and Zhou, H. (eds.), Advances in Water Resources, Environmental Protection, and Sustainable Development. Journal of Coastal Research, Special Issue No. 115, pp. 583-586. Coconut Creek (Florida), ISSN 0749-0208.
Catastrophe insurance is the risk of huge property loss and serious casualties caused by natural disasters. Through catastrophe insurance system, risks can be dispersed. Catastrophe is characterized by a low frequency of occurrence. But once it happens, its impact is generally beyond people's expectations. Among them, maritime catastrophe is the highest risk. Therefore, it is necessary to make early warning and assessment on the risk of marine catastrophe insurance. In the traditional methods of early warning and estimation, due to the divergence of the characteristic parameters of the model, the estimation of the influence of the parameters caused by the economic characteristics is insufficient. So the accuracy of the model is low. In this paper, the maritime catastrophe risk is pre-warning and assessment by using the spatial-temporal characteristics of marine economy. The model integrates support vector machine and neural network algorithm, and can deeply mine the spatial-temporal differentiation characteristics of marine economy. Therefore, the risk assessment model of catastrophe insurance has been optimized. The experimental results show that the model proposed in this paper can improve the risk assessment accuracy of catastrophe insurance, and has a certain reference value for the risk early warning of catastrophe insurance.

(eds.), Advances in Water Resources, Environmental Protection, and Sustainable Development. Journal of Coastal Research, Special Issue No. 115, pp. 587-592. Coconut Creek (Florida), ISSN 0749-0208.
The complex structure of the bank slope in the reservoir area is combined with the continuous undercut of the river to transform the side slope of the bank slope, which poses a certain threat to its stability. Water environment Treatment Engineering the actual data of typical slope collapse and deformation of reservoir are used as the basis, and a new quantitative theory method, logical information method, is adopted, which realizes higher accuracy by establishing logical information model and fuzzy logic expansion of the model. Through the prediction of the stability of the shoreline slope of the whole reservoir area, the stability of the natural and post-water rainstorm is statistically different. It is best to carry on the experimental analysis to the model, the result shows: the natural condition subordinate the potentially unstable shore section is very few, the vast majority is basically stable. In the case of heavy rains after water storage, the proportion of unstable shore segments rose to 9.4%, and the stable shoreline fell to 19.2%. The results show that the logic information model has a certain guiding effect on the prediction of the stability of reservoir bank slope of water Environment control project.

Yang, G.L., 2020. Risk prevention, control and early warning model of enterprises' loan in the Yangtze River Delta. In: Bai, X. and Zhou, H. (eds.), Advances in Water Resources, Environmental Protection, and Sustainable Development. Journal of Coastal Research, Special Issue No. 115, pp. 614-617. Coconut Creek (Florida), ISSN 0749-0208.
This paper analyzes the market background of Marine Enterprises in the Yangtze River Delta in recent years. With the Sino-U.S. trade war going on, it is found that the anti risk ability of Marine Enterprises' loans is declining. Two risk prevention and early warning models are proposed in this paper. The first model, CRISP-DM model, aims at the self inspection within the enterprise. The second model, Cox model, is used by banks to evaluate the loan risk of offshore enterprises. These two risk prevention and early warning models can bring good reference value and practical significance.
Gao, X.L. and Dong, Y.G., 2020. Regional reputation for quality really maintains the stable quality of exported products?: Take agricultural products including aquatic products as an example. In: Bai, X. and Zhou, H. (eds.), Advances in Water Resources, Environmental Protection, and Sustainable Development. Journal of Coastal Research, Special Issue No. 115, pp. 618-621. Coconut Creek (Florida), ISSN 0749-0208.
Efficient use of resources in enterprises is the key to make correct export decisions, which can avoid the cost loss caused by frequent entry or exit from the international market resulting from incomplete information. For agricultural products, different quality will be formed due to the difference of soil, water quality, climate, coastal or inland geographical location, and then quality reputation will be formed. In this paper, the average quality of the same agricultural products exported by the region in the previous period is taken as the proxy variable of “regional reputation for quality” of the product by using the 8-quantile data of customs from 2007 to 2013. Then, by constructing a gravity model, the influence of “regional reputation for quality” is discussed on the quality heterogeneity of agricultural products exported by enterprises. The empirical results show that “regional reputation for quality” can really maintain the “steady-state” export quality of agricultural products (low-quality steady-state and high-quality steady-state), and pass the robustness test. This study is of great practical significance for the local government to effectively promote the stability of the quality of agricultural products exported by local enterprises, thus maintaining a good reputation for “regional quality” and ensuring the stable export market share of local enterprises.
Bi, N. and Jiang, T., 2020. Analysis of the electromagnetic scattering characteristic and identification of Kelvin wake on 2-D sea surfaces by feature selective validation. In: Bai, X. and Zhou, H. (eds.), Advances in Water Resources, Environmental Protection, and Sustainable Development. Journal of Coastal Research, Special Issue No. 115, pp. 622-626. Coconut Creek (Florida), ISSN 0749-0208.
The electromagnetic scattering characteristics and the methods of identifying Kelvin wakes from a two-dimensional sea surface were studied. The two-scale method is used to calculate the electromagnetic scattering coefficients before and after superimposing the Kelvin wakes on rough sea surface. Then, by using the feature selective validation method, the feature differences between the two sets of scattering coefficients are extracted and compared, the global difference measures are obtained before and after the superimposed wake on the sea surface and its corresponding evaluation level. The results showed that under the appropriate conditions of sea surface wind speed and ship sailing speed, the evaluation level after superimposing the Kelvin wake on the sea surface could reach level three or higher. This shows that this kind of method can quantify the influence of a Kelvin wake on the electromagnetic backscattering characteristic of rough sea surface intuitively and accurately and realize the recognition of the Kelvin wakes.
Ying, J.Y.; Liang, K.W.; Wu, Q.S.; Xie, M.; Jin, X.C.; Ye, Q., and Yang, Z.L., 2020. Calculation of suspended sediment concentration based on deep learning and OBS turbidity. In: Bai, X. and Zhou, H. (eds.), Advances in Water Resources, Environmental Protection, and Sustainable Development. Journal of Coastal Research, Special Issue No. 115, pp. 627-630. Coconut Creek (Florida), ISSN 0749-0208.
Based on BP and Elman deep learning models with water depth, velocity, flow direction and salinity as input term and suspended sediment concentration as output term were constructed, and the calculated results were compared with the measured suspended sediment concentration and the suspended sediment concentration calculated by OBS turbidity. The results show that the suspended sediment concentration calculated by deep learning model can meet the needs of sediment dynamics research, but the calculation effect is not so good in high water stand, low water stand, fastest flood and fastest ebb periods, and the accuracy is far less than that of OSB calculation results. In the future, deep learning models can be improved in computational accuracy by adding input terms, and experimentally adjusting thresholds and connection weights.
Li, Y.L., 2020. The influence of manufacturing export trade on marine ecological environment in China. In: Bai, X. and Zhou, H. (eds.), Advances in Water Resources, Environmental Protection, and Sustainable Development. Journal of Coastal Research, Special Issue No. 115, pp. 631-635. Coconut Creek (Florida), ISSN 0749-0208.
With global warming, extreme climate and other environmental issues becoming increasingly prominent, the impact of import and export trade on Marine ecological environment has attracted more and more attention. Based on the current situation of China's manufacturing export, this paper discusses the deficiencies of China's current trade environment and its impact on the Marine ecological environment from the perspectives of policy norms, export structure, technology and concepts. The results show that China is at the low end of the global value chain, the role of processing and manufacturing makes China bear more pollution while becoming a manufacturing power, and taking labor-intensive and resource-intensive industries as China's comparative advantages to participate in the international division of labor will have a negative impact on China's Marine ecological environment. The low-end structure of exports, mainly manufactured goods, has further polluted China's Marine environment.

Zhang, Y.; Chang, F.Q.; Duan, L.Z.; Wu, H., Zhang, H.C., 2020. The industrial pollution history inferred by stable Pb isotope in the chronological sedimentary record of a plateau lake, Yunnan Province, Southwestern of China. In: Bai, X. and Zhou, H. (eds.), Advances in Water Resources, Environmental Protection, and Sustainable Development. Journal of Coastal Research, Special Issue No. 115, pp. 641-647. Coconut Creek (Florida), ISSN 0749-0208.
Lake Yangzong, a plateau deep water lake, located in the in Yunnan Province where was the one of the most industrialized regions in China, was suffered seriously mining pollution threat in recent decades. In the present research, based on the 210Pb and 137Cs methods, the chronological sequence of the sediment record collected from the lake basin was established. Combined with the stable isotopic compositions, Pb content and geochemical enrichment index (Igeo), the background of industrial activities and anthropogenic lead (Pb) pollution history were investigated. These results revealed that pollution history could divided into four stages. The contribution of Pb was primarily affected by regional emissions since the open reforming period, and local metal production industries was more involved in the late 1990s. Furthermore, the regional pollution pathways of anthropogenic Pb were mainly affected by atmospheric precipitation and transportation, which were predominately related to mining consumption and smelting industry.
Shih, Y.C., 2020. Metal contaminants tracer for modeling marine culture environmental quality-A Taiwanese case study. In: Bai, X. and Zhou, H. (eds.), Advances in Water Resources, Environmental Protection, and Sustainable Development. Journal of Coastal Research, Special Issue No. 115, pp. 648-654. Coconut Creek (Florida), ISSN 0749-0208.
The study was undertaken to assess the marine environmental effects from feed and waste associated with marine culture activities in Taiwan. In the meanwhile, the work was undertaken to develop an approach for modelling the changes of sediment chemistry related to the accumulation of marine culture waste. Metal composition of sediment Cu, Zn, Mn, Al, Li (ug/g) and Fe (%) were used to determine the extent of detectable effects around the cage. The concentrations of Al decreased with increased accumulation of Cu at study sites. There is a trend among normalised metals related to normal, hypoxic and anoxic sediment conditions. The trends are useful for detecting and assessing the cumulative effects from aquaculture wastes to the marine environment. Principal components analysis (PCA) was carried out on the metals and to cluster the similarities of the variables to establish for assessing the environmental conditions.
Ao, J.; Zhai, D.Y., and Ma, C.B., 2020. Study on laser propagation characteristic of downlink channel in non-uniform seawater. In: Bai, X. and Zhou, H. (eds.), Advances in Water Resources, Environmental Protection, and Sustainable Development. Journal of Coastal Research, Special Issue No. 115, pp. 655-661. Coconut Creek (Florida), ISSN 0749-0208.
In underwater optical communications, accurate evaluation concerning the optical propagation characteristic in seawater is crucial to the design of the communication system. The authors studied the distribution and loss properties of light traveling in seawater using Monte Carlo simulation method for the complex and changeable ocean communication channel. Assuming that the laser intensity is with Gaussian distribution, according to the Argo (Array for Real-time Geotropic Oceanography) data, the non-uniform seawater within 200 meters is layered vertically from the surface down, down, and the scattering and absorption of each layer is deduced. We studied the relation among the spot profile in receiving plane, emitted photons, transmission distance, and attenuation coefficient by using tracking the photon transmission process, and its correction is verified by using Monte Carlo simulation. Experimental results demonstrate that the scattering times of photons in seawater increase with the scattering distance and attenuation coefficient, and result in the enlargement of the receiving spot. Besides, if the seawater is considered as non-uniform, then the spot energy of the downlink is more concentrated than that in uniform seawater. In other words, the beam energy is more concentrated and suitable for long-distance transmission in a vertical direction. Therefore, considering the seawater as nonuniform medium and layering it vertically will make the evaluation of light transmission characteristic closer to practice.

In: Bai, X. and Zhou, H. (eds.), Advances in Water Resources, Environmental Protection, and Sustainable Development. Journal of Coastal Research, Special Issue No. 115, pp. 662-665. Coconut Creek (Florida), ISSN 0749-0208.
Wind speed prediction has important significance and value to coastal wind power. And the statistical model based on historical data is one of the most common prediction methods, which has made great progress for hourly mean wind speed forecasting with almost no consideration of predictability. In this paper, the correlation analysis was introduced to analyze the optimal wind speed predictable length based on the non-stationarity analysis of wind speed time series. The experimental results based on a large number of measured wind speed data shown that there exists a specific correlation length for the nonlinear wind speed time series. With the increasing of the correlation length, the prediction error gradually decreased and then increased. Thus, the correlation length corresponding to the turning point could be recognized as the optimal predictable length. Therefore, correlation analysis could be used to measure the predictability of wind speed. Based on the results, the quantitative measurement and prediction strategy with multiple characterization parameters of wind speed uncertainty is also presented. And the SVR and DBN algorithms are selected for several tests to verify that this multi-parameter forecasting method is feasible in practice.
Li, S.M.; Wang, Z.M.; Yuan, L.W.; Li, X.X.; Huang, Y.Z., and Guo, R., 2020. Mechanism of land subsidence of plateau lakeside Kunming city cluster (China) by MT-InSAR and leveling survey. In: Bai, X. and Zhou, H. (eds.), Advances in Water Resources, Environmental Protection, and Sustainable Development. Journal of Coastal Research, Special Issue No. 115, pp. 666-675. Coconut Creek (Florida), ISSN 0749-0208.
The Kunming city cluster (KCC) is located around the lakeside of Dianchi Lake, a plateau lake in Kunming Basin southwest of China, which is of complex geological structures and evolutionary history, and belongs to an earthquake fault depression area, where faults are developed and crustal stability is poor. Influenced by regional uplift and continuous subsidence of lakeside areas, the land subsidence characteristics of KCC are quite complex. The subsidence mechanism shows multi-inducement and multi-source property. In this paper, the land subsidence ranges, subsidence rate and subsidence spatio-temporal variation pattern of KCC were analyzed, mainly based on multi-temporal interferometry synthetic aperture radar (MT-InSAR), supplemented by leveling survey data, from 1986 to 2018. The effects of various controlling factors on land subsidence were studied respectively, such as geological structure, stratigraphic distribution, groundwater exploitation, and loads on the ground due to infrastructure construction and human activities, and the internal mechanism and response relation between the subsidence and the factors were studied too. The controlling factors and variation pattern of land subsidence in KCC were identified. The results have shown that the land subsidence of KCC is mainly affected by the tectonic activity in this area, fault basin landform sediments provide conditions for the development and speed up of land subsidence, and the previous land subsidence areas were closely related to the excessive exploitation of groundwater. However, in recent years, the subsidence areas expand continuously due to increases of loads from human activities. By analyzing the controlling factors and spatio-temporal variation pattern of land subsidence in the study areas, this paper has preliminarily revealed the land subsidence mechanism, which will provide reasonable theoretical reference and practical guidance for identifying and eliminating the potential land subsidence hazards and urban development planning in the plateau lakeside city cluster.
Liu, H.; Zhang, Z.-K., and Yin, B.-S., 2020. Response of algae bloom to the variation of nutrient and suspended sediments in the Bohai Bay: A model study. In: Bai, X. and Zhou, H. (eds.), Advances in Water Resources, Environmental Protection, and Sustainable Development. Journal of Coastal Research, Special Issue No. 115, pp. 676-681. Coconut Creek (Florida), ISSN 0749-0208.
A nutrient-phytoplankton-zooplankton-detritus (NPZD) biological model is developed and coupled to an ocean circulation model to simulate the annual cycle of nutrient and phytoplankton dynamics in the Bohai Bay. It is found that the nutrient concentration shows the high and low level in winter and summer, respectively, and has a negative correlation with the algae biomass which reaches the summit and declines to the lowest in summer and winter, respectively. Based on the validated model results, the nutrient and phytoplankton dynamics is investigated by means of a series of numerical experiments. It is found that the nitrogen limi-tation is dominant in this sea region, though the phosphate limitation may appear in the mouth of Haihe River. Additionally, the influence of the suspended sediment on the nutrient and phytoplankton dynamics is exam-ined. It can be seen that the increase of the suspended sediment concentration can effectively restrict the algae photoproduction and maintain the high level of the nutrients in the Bohai Bay.
Pan, D.Z.; Li, Y., and Pan, C.-H., 2020. Historical and projected future trends of tidal disasters at the Qiantang River Estuary, China. In: Bai, X. and Zhou, H. (eds.), Advances in Water Resources, Environmental Protection, and Sustainable Development. Journal of Coastal Research, Special Issue No. 115, pp. 682-686. Coconut Creek (Florida), ISSN 0749-0208.
The Qiantang River Estuary is a funnel-shaped macrotidal estuary with a famous tidal bore. According to historical documents, many dynasties have recorded the tidal disasters in China. Based on historical data, the spatial and temporal distributions of tidal disasters along the Qiantang River Estuary are investigated and the future trends are projected. The wavelet analysis for the occurrence number of tidal disaster in the Qiantang River Estuary shows that there are periodic oscillations of 5 years, 17 years, 29 years, and 55 years. 55 years is the first principal period. The month distribution mainly concentrates from the 5th to the 9th month of the Chinese lunar calendar, and come to peak in the 7th month. The daily distribution mainly concentrates near the waxing cresent moon and the waning gibbous moon, partly resulted from the lunar force influence. In spatial analysis, the frequency and hot spots show significant regional differences, and have a certain concentration in Hangzhou, Haining, Haiyan and Pinghu. Tidal disasters occurrence coincides with the change of the frequency of seawall construction and coastal reclamations, and it may be the reflection of sea level change.
Wang, J.X. and Yang, M., 2020. Measurement and comparison of economic efficiency of major coastal ports in China. In: Bai, X. and Zhou, H. (eds.), Advances in Water Resources, Environmental Protection, and Sustainable Development. Journal of Coastal Research, Special Issue No. 115, pp. 687-691. Coconut Creek (Florida), ISSN 0749-0208.
Coastal ports are an important foundation to support a country's open economy. The coastal ports of China have the advantages of low cost, low pollution, and strong sustainability, but there are also inefficiencies such as crowded input, insufficient output, and mismatch between scale and input-output. Increasing efficiency has become an inevitable choice for the sustainable development of coastal ports in China. To this end, based on the DEA model, this article measures the comprehensive technical efficiency, pure technical efficiency and scale efficiency of major coastal ports in China, empirically analyzes the influencing factors of the port's comprehensive efficiency, and gives countermeasures and suggestions.
Sun, J.L.; Zhang, Z.Y.; Liu, X.; Zhang, C., Mou, Z.H., 2020. Analysis of ionospheric TEC anomalies during super typhoons Megi and Meranti. In: Bai, X. and Zhou, H. (eds.), Advances in Water Resources, Environmental Protection, and Sustainable Development. Journal of Coastal Research, Special Issue No. 115, pp. 692-695. Coconut Creek (Florida), ISSN 0749-0208.
In this paper, we detected and analyzed ionospheric anomalies during the 2016 super typhoons Megi and Meranti using the sliding interquartile range method applied to the ionospheric total electron content (TEC) grid data from the Global Ionospheric Model (GIM) provided by the Center for Orbit Determination in Europe (CODE). We found that ionospheric TEC anomalies occurred 2 days before the origination of super typhoon Megi. The anomalies occurred from 02:00 to 12:00 local time over a period of 10 h, with a maximum outlier of 12 TEC units over the typhoon center. Anomalies occurred in the ionosphere over both the area near the typhoon center and the corresponding equatorial magnetic conjugate region. The anomalies in both areas showed approximately the same trends. It is very likely that the disturbances from the ionospheric anomalies over the typhoon center were one of the precursors for the typhoon event. Similar ionospheric anomalies also occurred in the ionosphere 2 days before the formation and development of super typhoon Meranti. The global ionospheric TEC distribution was even more complex on that day. The existence of multiple peaks and valleys in the maximum outlier near the typhoon center was possibly associated with the position of the typhoon center and the GIM grid points or the wind speeds over the typhoon center.
Dou, Y.; Shao, P.; Gao, J.W.; Jia, X.Y., and Zhou, W.L., 2020. Effects of the culture conditions on growth and photosynthesis indices of Thalassiosira weissflogii. In: Bai, X. and Zhou, H. (eds.), Advances in Water Resources, Environmental Protection, and Sustainable Development. Journal of Coastal Research, Special Issue No. 115, pp. 696-699. Coconut Creek (Florida), ISSN 0749-0208.
Thalassiosira weissflogii is a marine resource microalga with practical applications in aquaculture and preparation of new nanomaterials, therefore the approach to culture conditions of T. weissflogii is quite important. Batch culture methods were used to study the effects of salinity and light intensity on T. weissflogii cell density and chlorophyll-a (chl-a) concentration. The results showed that: (1) The optimal salinity level for T. weissflogii growth was 30‰, under which cell density and chl-a concentration were up to 8.22 × 105 cells·mL-1 and 887.5 µg·L-1, respectively; the relative growth rate was 0.183. (2) The optimal light intensity level was 36 µmol·m-2s-1, under which cell density and chl-a concentration were up to 6.83 × 105 cells·mL-1 and 1431.7 µg·L-1, respectively; the relative growth rate was 0.146. (3) Compared with inorganic nitrogen sources, (NH2)2CO could better increase the cell density and chl-a concentration of T. weissflogii. In the experiment, the maximum cell density and chl-a concentration of T. weissflogii in the (NH2)2CO treatment group were 3.67 × 104 cells·mL-1 and 279.25 mg·L-1, respectively. These findings determined the optimal salinity and light intensity levels for growth of T. weissflogii, and reflected the effects of nitrogen source composition on T. weissflogii, accordingly, provided a new insight and important references to growth regulation and intensive culture of T. weissflogii in the lab.
