Journal of Coastal Research, Special Issue No. 107, pp. 113-116. Coconut Creek (Florida), ISSN 0749-0208.
In recent years, high-precision aircraft electronic equipment has been put into use, playing an irreplaceable role in aviation law enforcement in the Marine environment. Marine surveillance aircraft are based at coastal airports all the year round and mainly perform maritime flight missions. In recent years, it has become the norm for maritime surveillance aircraft to go to sea or stay on the island. At the same time, if the equipment operation and maintenance personnel do not find the hidden trouble in time during the inspection, resulting in the sudden breakdown of the aircraft in the air, it will seriously endanger the safety of maritime surveillance aircraft and the completion of law enforcement tasks. Therefore, it is very important to pay attention to the environmental anti-corrosion work of airborne equipment. The atmospheric environment of high temperature, humidity and high salt is more serious to the corrosion of aircraft instruments.

The use of mathematical methods to analyze the ocean thermal circulation is very critical. We survey and map the corresponding characteristics of the ocean, mainly using a mathematical model. We sample the surface of the ocean circulation and obtain it by analysis. In order to understand its related distribution, it has a clear idea for its further research and development. In the process of surveying and mapping the ocean, due to the traditional surveying and mapping, the surveying and mapping are mainly carried out by personnel. This form of surveying not only wastes time greatly, but also the quality of surveying and mapping is not high.

Chen, Z.; Chen, H.; Wang, L., and Guo, W., 2020. Factors of enterprise carbon performance: an empirical study of public shipping company in coastal regions of China. In: Qiu, Y.; Zhu, H., and Fang, X. (eds.), Current Advancements in Marine and Coastal Research for Technological and Sociological Applications. Journal of Coastal Research, Special Issue No. 107, pp. 268-272. Coconut Creek (Florida), ISSN 0749-0208.
This paper empirically tested the factors of carbon performance of shipping company in coastal areas of China with legitimacy theory. It is found that the asset-liability ratio, the profitability, the growth, the proportion of independent directors, and marketization degree have significant impacts on carbon performance. The research shows that, in the context of the low overall carbon performance of public shipping companies, the higher the legitimacy pressure represented by corporate characteristics, the lower the carbon performance level. Corporate internal governance does not play an effective role in the legitimacy management of carbon performance. The external governance mechanism characterized by marketization degree can effectively promote the legitimacy management of enterprise carbon performance and the low-carbon transformation of shipping industry in coastal areas.

(2) From the perspective of specific provinces, Beijing and Tianjin are strong and relatively strong in the coordination of four primary indicators such as policy intensity, policy objectives, policy measures and policy platforms. In terms of Hebei Province, it has strong policy intensity. Policy objectives and policy measures are neither strong nor weak, and policy platforms are relatively weak. (3) From the perspective of indicators, the regional indicators such as talent construction, innovation system, intellectual property protection, and policy platforms are relatively poorly coordinated and need to be further strengthened.
Shi, L.Y., 2020. Changes of industrial structure and economic growth in coastal regions of China: A threshold panel model based study. In: Qiu, Y.; Zhu, H., and Fang, X. (eds.), Current Advancements in Marine and Coastal Research for Technological and Sociological Applications. Journal of Coastal Research, Special Issue No. 107, pp. 278-282. Coconut Creek (Florida), ISSN 0749-0208.
Based on 53 coastal cities in China, this paper empirically tests the threshold effect of industrial structure changes on economic growth by establishing threshold panel model. The results show that the rationalization of industrial structure can significantly promote coastal economic growth, but after the real per capita GDP crosses a higher threshold, the driving force becomes weak. The upgrading of industrial structure has a significant negative impact on coastal economic growth within the range of smaller real per capita GDP. However, when the real per capita GDP is higher than a certain threshold, the upgrading of industrial structure can promote coastal economic growth weakly but significantly. In addition, the higher the level of industrial structure upgrading, the stronger the driving force of industrial structure rationalization for coastal economic growth. On the other hand, the effect of industrial structure upgrading on coastal economic growth is negative but not significant when the rationalization of industrial structure is high. However, industrial structure upgrading strongly and significantly slow down coastal economic growth when the rationalization of industrial structure is low.

Shi, L.Y., 2020. Industrial structure changes, spatial spillover and economic growth in the Yangtze River Delta. In: Qiu, Y.; Zhu, H., and Fang, X. (eds.), Current Advancements in Marine and Coastal Research for Technological and Sociological Applications. Journal of Coastal Research, Special Issue No. 107, pp. 377-382. Coconut Creek (Florida), ISSN 0749-0208.
Based on the data of 41 cities in the Yangtze River Delta from 2003 to 2016, this paper constructs a spatial Durbin model (SDM) and empirically tests the relationship between the industrial structure changes and economic growth. The results show that the industrial structure rationalization is not only conducive to the promotion of local economic growth, but also has a positive spatial spillover effect on other spatial neighboring cities. The industrial structure upgrading has a significant negative impact on the economic growth, and has a significant negative spatial spillover effect. Therefore, cities in the Yangtze River Delta should focus on improving the industrial structure rationalization and it is not appropriate to overemphasize the upgrading of industrial structure.
Zhang, H.; Wu, S.; Gu, D., and Tian, Y., 2020. Improvement of water quality assessment in payments for ecosystem services: Evidence from Xin'anjiang River Basin. In: Qiu, Y.; Zhu, H., and Fang, X. (eds.), Current Advancements in Marine and Coastal Research for Technological and Sociological Applications. Journal of Coastal Research, Special Issue No. 107, pp. 383-387. Coconut Creek (Florida), ISSN 0749-0208.
Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD) is one of the important indexes to assess the pollution of water. The Payments for Ecosystem Services (PES) scheme implemented in Xin'anjiang River Basin took total nitrogen (TN), total phosphorus (TP), and ammonia nitrogen (NH3-N) into assessment, while the index COD was ignored in the evaluation index system. It is necessary to figure out whether the indexes that put into the assessment were reasonable, especially if the indexes did not take into consideration were getting worse. Taking the Xin'anjiang River basin as a case, Synthetic Control Method (SCM) was used to analyze the effects of the PES scheme implemented in Anhui Province from 2012 on NH3-N and COD. The results showed that the PES scheme success to alleviate the pollution of NH3-N in Anhui Province, but failed to alleviate the pollution of COD at the same time. The study demonstrates whether the water quality has been improved since the PES scheme according to the indexes it was regulated, as well as COD, which did not take into consideration. Finally, the reasons for the increase of COD in Anhui Province have been analyzed, and suggestions have been offered from the perspective of improving the assessment of water quality.

The study of economic coupling between two regions is a hot topic in regional economics, and also a hot topic in the field of international trade. The evaluation index of economic coupling between the two places is the core and key to study this problem, and is also the major indicator related to the scientific of the evaluation results. This paper takes the economic coupling between Beihai of China and Haiphong of Vietnam as the research object, constructs the multiple regression equation of the economic coupling between the two places by using the multiple linear regression method, and gives the correlation coefficient analysis and the statistical test of the regression model based on SPSS software. Empirical research finds that the coordination degree of per capita GDP, output value of the third industry and per capita green space area are the important indicators that affect the economic coupling of the two places.

With the improvement of China's openness, the free flow of international capital is more and more free, but at the same time, it also puts forward higher requirements for the stability of the financial system. Coastal areas have the highest degree of openness in China, with more developed economy and finance. It can be said that coastal areas are “systemically important” areas that determine the degree of financial stability in China. This paper first puts forward the hypothesis of “systematic importance” of coastal areas to China's financial stability, then constructs the model of “interest rate total amount of credit”, and studies the influence degree of interest rate changes on the total amount of credit in China's major provinces by using the method of time series analysis, and then draws the conclusion that coastal areas are the “systemically important” areas of China's financial stability. Finally, this paper points out that coastal areas are the “systemically important” areas of China's financial stability Suggestions: first, coastal areas should establish corresponding financial stability assessment system while improving financial openness; second, build an effective risk early warning system; third, build an effective risk supervision system; fourth, build an effective emergency system.

In: Qiu, Y.; Zhu, H., and Fang, X. (eds.), Current Advancements in Marine and Coastal Research for Technological and SociologicalApplications. JournalofCoastalResearch, Special Issue No. 107, pp. 398-402. Coconut Creek (Florida), ISSN 0749-0208.
Using the data of A-share listed companies in Chinese coastal areas from 2008 to 2018, this paper compares the differences of financial asset investment level between coastal areas and inland areas, and empirically analyses the impact of financial asset investment on business performance. The research finds that: (1) the regional attributes of enterprises will affect the level of financial asset investment. In the coastal areas with relatively developed economy, there may be more financial assets investment due to less financing constraints. (2) The investment of financial assets may affect the performance of enterprises.
Xu, C.; Li, X.F.; Shen, A., and Zhou, K., 2020. Study on the impact of 21st-century Maritime Silk Road initiative and cultural distance on China's forest products trade. In: Qiu, Y.; Zhu, H., and Fang, X. (eds.), Current Advancements in Marine and Coastal Research for Technological and Sociological Applications. Journal of Coastal Research, Special Issue No. 107, pp. 403-407. Coconut Creek (Florida), ISSN 0749-0208.
Strengthening maritime coopeation conforms to the development trend of the world. It is not only an inevitable choice for promoting more in-depth economic cooperation between countries, but also an important way for countries to promote regional peace and stability. Based on the panel data of forest products trade between China and 78 countries from 1995 to 2017, this study investigates the impact of the 21st-Century Maritime Silk Road (CMSR) initiative and cultural distance on China's forest product trade. The findings suggest that the CMSR initiative significantly increased China's total forest product trade and exports. The cultural distance has a U-shaped relationship with China's total forest product trade and exports. This implies that, as the cultural distance increases, China's forest product trade and exports both show a trend of decreasing first and then increasing.

In: Qiu, Y.; Zhu, H., and Fang, X. (eds.), Current Advancements in Marine and Coastal Research for Technological and Sociological Applications. Journal of Coastal Research, Special Issue No. 107, pp. 408-412. Coconut Creek (Florida), ISSN 0749-0208.
Utilizing the data of A-share listed companies in Chinese coastal areas from 2008 to 2017, this paper empirically analyses the relationship between the pledge of controlling shareholders' equity and the enterprise innovation. The results show that: (1) Controlling shareholders' share pledge will restrain innovation investment, but this negative impact will only play a role when the share pledge rate is high; (2) After subdividing the nature of property rights, it is found that the restraint of controlling shareholders' share pledge on enterprise innovation is more significant in coastal non-state-owned enterprises than in state-owned enterprises.

This study investigates whether corporate social responsibility (CSR) mitigates or contributes to the corporate capital market regulation. We use annual report inquiry letters and conducted the survey among the listed companies in coast regions of China. We find a significantly negative association between firms' CSR and the probability of receiving an annual report inquiry letter. Our study will be useful to firms and shareholders who want to reduce business risks and to investors who want to use inquiry letter information to make decisions.
Fu, Q.L.; Wu, J.H.; Zhao, R., and Yang, Z.Y., 2020. Poverty alleviation effect of inclusive finance: A case study of the coastal regions of north China. In: Qiu, Y.; Zhu, H., and Fang, X. (eds.), Current Advancements in Marine and Coastal Research for Technological and Sociological Applications. Journal of Coastal Research, Special Issue No. 107, pp. 419-424. Coconut Creek (Florida), ISSN 0749-0208.
This paper studies the poverty alleviation effect of inclusive finance development and Internet popularization and the research target is the coastal regions of North China. The coastal regions of North China (Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region) is the most economically dynamic region in China. However, the gap in economic development level between cities in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region is large, and there is a representative and typical phenomenon that highly-developed globalized cities coexist with “Poverty Belt around the Capital City”. Therefore, based on the data of 13 major cities in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region from 2008 to 2018, this paper builds an index system from the two dimensions of the availability and use of inclusive financial services, and measures the development level of inclusive finance by calculating the Inclusive Financial Index(IFI), then comparatively analyzes the poverty alleviation of inclusive finance in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region under the environment of Internet popularization by using the common measurement model and spatial econometric model.
Yang, Y. and Cheng, J.J., 2020. Bank intervention and commercial credit: An empirical study of debt default enterprises in coastal regions. In: Qiu, Y.; Zhu, H., and Fang, X. (eds.), Current Advancements in Marine and Coastal Research for Technological and Sociological Applications. Journal of Coastal Research, Special Issue No. 107, pp. 425-430. Coconut Creek (Florida), ISSN 0749-0208.
Evaluation of the impact of debt default and the adjustment of corporate financing policies in coastal areas is significant to understand the stamina of Chinese enterprises' transformation and development. Based on the sample of A-share listed companies in coastal provinces in 2007 and 2018, using propensity score matching and difference in difference methods, it is found that the commercial credit of enterprises will decrease significantly after bank intervention. In particular, the higher the concentration of suppliers, the greater the inhibitory effect of bank intervention on enterprise commercial credit, which means that strong suppliers are more likely to add insult to injury; and the more perfect the financial contract system, the greater the inhibitory effect of bank intervention on enterprise commercial credit, that is, the contract system strengthens the protection of the rights of bank claims. This paper provides a theoretical basis and policy reference to improve the commercial credit quality of enterprises in coastal areas.
Deng, W. and Xiao, L., 2020. Heterogeneity of industrial structure transformation of resource-based cities in China's coastal economic belt – A quantile regression study. In: Qiu, Y.; Zhu, H., and Fang, X. (eds.), Current Advancements in Marine and Coastal Research for Technological and Sociological Applications. JournalofCoastalResearch, Special Issue No. 107, pp. 431-436. Coconut Creek (Florida), ISSN 0749-0208.
It is a theoretical and practical subject of unique research value to analyze the factors affecting the transformation and upgrading of resource-based cities in the coastal economic belt and explore the heterogeneity of the influence of different indicators on the transformation and upgrading of resource-based cities in the coastal economic belt. The research is beneficial to guide the characteristic development of different types of resource-based cities and promote the transformation and upgrading of resource-based cities in the coastal economic belt. Based on quantile regression, this article uses the statistical data between 2007 and 2016 to conduct heterogeneity analysis over the indicators that affect the industrial structure transformation of 15 resource-based cities in the coastal economic belt including Dongying and some other cities. On this basis, this article further discusses the problems in the industrial structure transformation of resource-based cities in the coastal economic belt and proposes corresponding countermeasures and suggestions.
Huang, X.L.; Ren, Y.T.; Zhang, J.A.; Wang, D., and Liu, J.P., 2020. Dynamic scheduling optimization of marine oil spill emergency resource. In: Qiu, Y.; Zhu, H., and Fang, X. (eds.), Current Advancements in Marine and Coastal Research for Technological and Sociological Applications. Journal of Coastal Research, Special Issue No. 107, pp. 437-442. Coconut Creek (Florida), ISSN 0749-0208.
With the increasing development of marine resources development and marine transportation, oil spill has become one of the main threats to marine ecological environment. Considering that the oil film has the characteristics of drift, this paper studies the oil spill emergency material scheduling problem with multiple oil films. Firstly, the position of oil film drifting with time under the influence of sea condition is calculated. Secondly, aiming at the shortest scheduling time and the lowest cost, the dynamic scheduling optimization model of oil spill emergency materials is constructed. The maximum threshold of emergency dispatch time is introduced to transform the model, and MPSO algorithm is designed to solve the model. The results show that the emergency materials can be transported to the accident site within the prescribed time, thus preventing the continuous diffusion of pollution. At the same time, it can avoid unnecessary waste and reduce economic loss. And it can provide the theoretical support for the decision-maker to make the emergency material dispatch plan.
Jin, J.Y.; Zhang, N.; Li, F.; Chuan, M., and Yang, Y.S., 2020. Energy finance development research of Maritime Silk Road. In: Qiu, Y.; Zhu, H., and Fang, X. (eds.), Current Advancements in Marine and Coastal Research for Technological and Sociological Applications. Journal of Coastal Research, Special Issue No. 107, pp. 443-448. Coconut Creek (Florida), ISSN 0749-0208.
Maritime Silk Road first proposed by China is rich in energy storage, and it is also the growth point of developing energy finance, this paper concludes that Sichuan Province plays a leading role in our country's energy finance development, and that different places have dramatically diverse energy finance development. The energy industry is not coordinated with financial economy and the development of supporting industries. As determined by factor analysis method by building an assessment index of energy finance development, there exists a phenomenon of homogeneous competition. The gravitation model clearly shows the influence and competitiveness between different provinces and the advantages and disadvantages of each province in energy finance development, thus providing direction for future development.

The southeast coastal area, where several major urban agglomerations are concentrated in, is the main engine of national economic growth. Studying the natural development context of coastal cities will help to improve the urban scale structure, strengthen the relationship between urban space and surrounding areas as well as bring enlightenment for the coordinated development of regional economic belt. Taking Huzhou as an example, this paper studies the evolution of the natural system of coastal cities in the Taihu Lake River Basin. This research focuses on the formation of urban natural spatial pattern based on the city's natural development mechanism and try to sum up the traditional urban development mode through combining the evolution data of urban natural system in historical period, in order to put forward scientific theory and practical basis for the protection, construction and inheritance of traditional urban natural base in China. Through the field survey and graphic analysis, this article makes an in-depth analysis of the urban development and the evolution of natural system in Huzhou from three aspects: (1) the Urban Development of Ancient Huzhou; (2) the natural urban system of Ancient Huzhou; (3) the exploration of the natural urban development model of Huzhou, and the conclusion is that the relationship between the city and the natural system of Huzhou shows a spiral rise in the process of evolution.
