Abstract

The natural hybrid between Aloe arborescens Mill. and A. thraskii Baker (Asphodelaceae subfam. Alooideae) from the eastern coastal parts of the Eastern Cape province of South Africa where the natural geographical distribution ranges of these two species overlap, is described as Aloe ×thammii Gideon F.Sm.
