Abstract

The subgenus, Rheocricotopus (s. str.) Brundin, 1956 from China is reviewed. Rheocricotopus (Rheocricotopus) heterochros sp. nov. is described from an adult male. Rheocricotopus (R.) inaxeyeus Sasa, Kitami & Suzuki, 2001 and R. (R.) pauciseta Sæther, 1969 are recorded from China for the first time. The diagnosis for the subgenus is emended, and a key to adult males of the subgenus in China is presented.
