Two new species of the scydmaenine genus Syndicus Motschulsky, 1851, Syndicus (s. str.) qiong Yin and Zhou, new species and Syndicus (s. str.) philippinus Yin and Zhou, new species, are described from southern China and the Philippines, respectively. Syndicus (Semisyndicus) schuelkei Jałoszyński, 2011, new synonym is placed as a junior synonym of Syndicus (Semisyndicus) sinensis Jałoszyński, 2004. Material from Sichuan, previously published as S. sinensis, represents a different species, described here as Syndicus (Semisyndicus) sichuanicus Yin and Zhou, new species. Additional collecting data are given for Syndicus (s. str.) jaloszynskii Yin and Song, 2014 and Syndicus (Semisyndicus) hainanicus Yin and Li, 2015 in China, and Syndicus (s. str.) difficilis Jałoszyński, 2004 in Thailand.
