Abstract

Eutrombidium sepasgosariani sp. nov. (Acari: Eutrombidiidae) is described and illustrated from larvae ectoparasitic on Gryllus domesticus Linnaeus (Orthoptera: Gryllidae) from Ahwaz, Iran. This is the first record of Gryllus domesticus L. as a host for the genus Eutrombidium Verdun,1909. The family Eutrombidiidae is new to the fauna of Iran.
