Abstract

Charletonia terianae sp. nov. (Acari: Trombidiformes: Prostigmata) is described and illustrated from Cheliferidae (Pseudoscorpionida), Phalangiidae (Opiliones) and Araneae (family unknown) which live under bark of trees in the grounds of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Tehran, Karaj, Alborz province, Iran. Some morphological data for C. stekolnikovi Hakimitabar & Saboori, 2011 are corrected.
