^*EMRE ÇİLDEN has a bachelor's degree in biological science from Hacettepe University Biology Department (2006), a master's degree in science – botany (2011) and a PhD in botany (2016) from the same institution. He is currently a research assistant at Hacettepe University. He has experience in botany, with emphasis on plant taxonomy, working mainly on systematic botany, floral revision and molecular taxonomy, and on the Illustrated Flora of Turkey as the official author for some genera.

^***EDİBE ÖZMEN-BAYSAL has a bachelor's degree in biology education from Hacettepe University (2003), a master's degree in science – botany (2006) and a PhD in botany (2012) from the same institution. She is currently a research assistant at Hacettepe University. She has experience in botany, with an emphasis on palynology and plant anatomy, working mainly on the following topics: aeropalynology, pollen morphology, palynotaxonomy, forensic palynology, general plant anatomy and archaeobotany.
^****ŞİNASİ YILDIRIMLI has a bachelor's degree in natural sciences from Ege University, Faculty of Science, Department of Natural Sciences (1972). He received his master of science degree (1978) and PhD in botany (1982) from the same institution. He has been the owner and editor of OT Systematic Botany Journal since 1994. He is also the owner and founder of a private herbarium, Herbarium Yildirimli. He retired from Hacettepe University in January 2016. He has extensive experience in plant taxonomy.
