Abstract

A new fossil insect is described and figured from a specimen of a nearly complete forewing taken from the Lower Permian of Noble County, Oklahoma. †Raaschia oklahomensis Beckemeyer, n. gen. et n. sp., is assigned to †Raaschiidae, n. fam., which appears most closely allied with the families †Chelopteridae, †Aliculidae, and †Phenopteridae of the Grylloblattida: †Protoperlina.
