Bintuni Bay is a semi-closed bay located in West Papua Province, Indonesia. The facility of Tangguh LNG Project was faced serious problems due to erosion along the cliff. It was decided that reclamation is the best solution. Mangrove trees are planted in the reclamation area to reduce the wave. The reclamation was designed until one meter below highest water spring to allow seawater to flow in and out through the inlet/outlet. This paper presents and discusses simulations for several options of reclamation layout, inlet/outlet, during and after reclamation. MuSed3D, the 3D ocean hydrodynamics and sediment transport model using non-orthogonal boundary fitted technique, was employed to conduct the simulation.
