Abstract

A new record of Crassulaceae, namely plants that may belong to Umbilicus botryoides Hochst. ex A.Rich., is documented for the Angolan Flora. These plants were observed on the western edge of the Huila plateau near the town of Lubango. They extend the known distribution of Umbilicus in Africa from around 8° S in Tanzania to just about 15° S.
