Abstract

Drimia intricata var. visagieae Van Jaarsv. from sheer rock faces of the Serra Chella escarpment west of Lubango in south western Angola is described. At once distinguished by its pendent semi-terete succulent minutely tuberculate leaves, firm yellowish green bulbs and large pendent white flowers.
