^**Dr. Qi Zhou is a professor at State Key Laboratory of Stem Cell and Reproductive Biology, Institute of Zoology, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). Dr. Zhou received his PhD from Northeast Agricultural University, China, in 1996. He completed his post-doc training at Institute of Developmental Biology, CAS, and at French National Institute for Agricultural Research (INRA). Dr. Zhou's research interests cover stem cell, reproductive, and developmental biology, and he is also dedicated to promoting the application of stem cells to clinical use. Dr. Zhou has so far published >200 peer-reviewed research articles and book chapters with >9,000 citations (as of April 2022). Dr. Zhou has received many academic awards, including 3rd genOway Prize for Transgenic Technologies (2004), the Outstanding Science and Technology Achievement Prize of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (2013), the National Natural Science Award (second-class) of China (2014) and TWAS (The World Academy of Sciences for the advancement of science in developing countries) Prize in Biology (2016).
