Abstract

Stereopalpus tsou sp. nov. (Coleoptera: Anthicidae) is described from Taiwan. This is the first record of the subfamily Eurygeniinae LeConte, 1862 from the island. The new species, considered Taiwanese endemic, belongs to the minutus informal species-group.
