Abstract

A new species, Stilobezzia (Stilobezzia) raula sp. nov. is described and illustrated from Brazil based on male adults, and four previously known species are redescribed: S. (S.) blantoni Lane & Forattini, 1956, S. (S.) macfiei Lane, 1947, S. (S.) pallescens Lane & Forattini, 1958 and S. (S.) paulistensis Lane, 1947. Stilobezzia (S.) pseudopunctulata Cazorla & Ronderos, 2012 is recognized as a junior synonym of S. (S.) kiefferi Lane, 1947. The distributions of S. macfiei and S. kiefferi are expanded.
